Wrestlemania! baayyyybbbbeeeeeee

It’s WrestleMania weekend! I’m so excited. It’s my favorite time of the year. I binge on all my podcasts and interviews as I can to prepare for the big day. I even make sure that my weekend is cleared from work.

There was a time I never got to watch WrestleMania, or if I did, it was a random party at a friend of my dad’s. It wasn’t til my early 20s that I got to watch them more frequently, It wasn’t just WrestleMania but other ppvs (not always the legal way though lol) once WWE had their network and you could watch all their ppvs (all for 9.99 a month lol) I made sure I didn’t miss anything if I could help it course. I worked as a server and sometimes I would have to work on Sundays. So I would wold either stay up hella late to watch it when I got home or watch it first thing in the morning. I didn’t want to have anything spoiled by social media. Those were my Facebook scrolling days.

WrestleMania has become like this big music festival. You got all these cool things to do and see (fan access meet and greets and such). Now that I’m doing wrestling photography man the fomo is soooo strong. There are so many Indy shows and just a bunch of cool things to see on top of the fan access and events that WWE is doing. This has become like a shining pillar for all the wrestling fans and indy wrestlers to flock to and be nerds together and I’m soooooo bummed I can’t experience it all. Maybe one day!

So even though I’m not going to LA. Im going to C2E2 and dressing up as Becky Lynch to kinda fill that void a bit. I’m excited, I have never been to C2E2, but I’ve heard it is a lot of fun and this is my chance to dress up. I usually have to work on Halloween so I don’t ever get a chance to get a costume. I tried to make my costume look as authentic as possible. It will be funny to see myself in an orange wig and I couldn’t afford a replica women’s champion belt so I made one out of cardboard, paper, and leather lol. There is going to be a panel and cosplay contest I’m going to attend so I get to experience some of the WrestleMania excitement even though everyone is on the other other side of the country just having the best time of their life (crying emoji) its fine…everything is fine…. there is always next year….or the year after that?!

Anyways… Happy Wrestlemania!
